The Stage Series had a plywood body, and was an entry-level guitar, while the Tradition Series had a solid-wood body and better specs. The Vester Strats came in two series - the Stage Series, and the Tradition Series. I proudly play a Korean guitar (although not a Vester). In retrospect, however, the quality was usually pretty good. At that time, (80s, early 90s) people looked down on Korean guitars the way they do now with Chinese guitars. Vester guitars were made in Korea, back in the days before large-scale Chinese guitar manufacturing. A pointy-headstock "Maniac Series" superstrat back in the late 80s, and a Vester Strat.
